The school in Marerouge stands in the middle of the Summits land that hopes to one day boast an academy that will serve the best of Summits students through high school. The community school is surrounded by livestock and subsistence gardens, and is the main provider of water for the central town of Mirebalais. Marerouge is one of the 10 model schools in the Summits network and stands as an inspiration to other network schools.
