Before coming to work in the community of Loncy, the principal Jean Jean Claude served as a teacher in the Summits school across the lake in Vieux Cayes. Deeply dedicated to the education of his students, Jean Jean Claude works as a middle school teacher in the afternoon after managing the primary school in the morning. As one of the best schools in the area, final exams are held here, as well as literacy summer camp. The school is the pride of the community and serves as a gathering space for worshipping and a stop for community health workers traveling during the summer months.
