Ecole Communautaire Christ-Roi
Bois-Joli is one of the original 13 schools incorporated into the Summits network. Named after the abundance of Mahogany trees that once covered the mountainside, this school now collaborates with Zanmi Agrikol to produce coffee and reforest the region. A mobile clinic visits the school annually to treat more than 100 families of the community. Before Bois-Joli was built, children would need to walk for four hours, down the mountain to Cange or Domond to attend school. The school is now a driving force for progress in the greater community.

When you sponsor a Summits school you are investing in the promise of a bright future for the children of Haiti. Our mission at Summits is nothing less than changing the trajectory of a generation of Haitians to aim for a better life, a more sustainable community, and a vibrant and productive country. To achieve this goal, we are committed to providing the very best education to our students, by training their teachers, building their schools and supporting them as they reach far beyond the mountains of the Central Plateau to realize their most ambitious dreams. When you sponsor a Summits school you are helping to make dreams come true.
