Ecole Communautaire Saint Luc
Father Lafontant and Paul Farmer came to Vieux Cayes, a 45-minute hike from Cange, where Zanmi Lasante was founded, and saw the need for a school. The school they envisioned is now surrounded by subsistence farming of bananas, peanuts and tobacco in a community that is home to various members of our administrative team including the school’s principal who once made the hike to Cange to seek his own education.
