Ecole Communautaire Foyer des Enfants
The founder and principal are married and refer to this school as their family. The community of Foyer des Enfants des Desbayes is home to many voodoosants, and where our first campaign #TeachersFirst was filmed in 2015. The founder was originally a Zanmi Lasante health agent in the area when she observed the large number of children not going to school because of lack of access and decided it was her duty to build one.
