Ecole Communautaire Saint Jean

Referenced in Tracy Kidder’s book, “Mountains Beyond Mountains,” Morne Michel-St. Jean is a challenge to reach, but with a well-earned majestic view of the entirety of Lake Pèligre. The principal of the school attended the school when it was made of wood and yet to be the current impressive structure built by our partners, Digicel. One of our 10 model schools, Morne Michel-St. Jean boasts coffee project and a beautiful and productive school garden.
