This week, we invited a small film crew to Haiti to help capture stories from our schools. The team included our friend, Becca Dobyns, along with filmmakers Kellen Ryan and Yahna Harris.
We had a blast introducing the crew to the Central Plateau. There were early mornings, bumpy car rides, and lots of giggles shared with classrooms full of curious students. We jumped rope, scaled mountains, and cracked coconuts at the end of long school days. We were moved by interviews with longtime teachers and stayed up late watching footage. We left grateful for the many people who welcomed us into their homes and communities.
A huge thanks to Becca, Kellen, and Yahna for an amazing week – we promise to bring breakfast next time.
